Hungary's credit outlook has been revised upwards to "stable" according to the international ratings agency Fitch.
The sovereign credit rating of the country itself was not changed and remains at BB+ with regard to long-term loans in hard currency.
Agency analysts have noted that the improvement of the forecast is the result of progress in reducing the budget deficit and stabilizing the public debt while there have also been improvements on the position of government in regard to foreign and domestic financial markets.
