UkrAgroConsult started the preparation of a new research about the logistics of river transportation of grain in the Black Sea region «River grain terminals in the Black Sea Region: Focusing on the future» in English.

The release date of the research - February 1, 2013.

The study will include analysis and forecasts on the development of the river ports of Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova on Dnieper, Dniester, Danube, Volga and Don rivers.

A number of factors, including global warming, changes in cropping areas' patterns, reduction of marketing costs for delivery to ports, suggest that the use of river ports will become an alternative and promising option for grain transportation.
