Turkey to invest $122 mln into economy of Tajikistan

The documents signed between Tajikistan and Turkey at the forum of businessmen in Konya suggest construction of facilities in Tajikistan valued at $122 million, reported the president's press service.
In accordance with the memorandum of cooperation signed between the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management and Coca-Cola the non-alcohol beverage plant will be erected in Tajikistan. The project is estimated at $70 million.
Another signed memorandum is between Tajikistan's Tamvil and Turkye's Turkmoli envisages construction of the Family Recreation and Shopping Center in Dushanbe worth $50 milion.
Under the agreement signed between Tajikistan's Farovon and Turkey's Degirmenci Kardeslar a flour plant will be built in Gissar district of Tajikistan. The plant cost is $2 mln. It will employ 150 people.
Six documents were signed between two countries on December 17, 9 more documents are to be sifned on December 18, the president's press service said.
