The measures taken by the government in 2012 will provide an opportunity to significantly enhance economic development, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in an interview with the First National TV channel.

"I am confident that the measures the government has taken in 2012 will provide an opportunity to boost economic development," the head of government said.

According to him, this year, the government has paid much attention to the development of the construction industry and modernization of the economy, in particular, to attracting investors for the implementation of large infrastructure projects, for which government guarantees will be provided. The possibility of introducing credit support to certain sectors of the economy is also considered.
