Volume of Kazakhstani agricultural products falls by 18.5% since beginning of 2012

The volume of Kazakhstani agricultural products fell by 18.5% in January-November 2012, if compared to the same period of 2011, the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan reported.
In animal husbandry, the amount of output totaled 889.5 billion tenge (down 4.6%), in crop - 921.4 billion tenge (down 27.3%).
As noted by the Office, the number of cattle decreased by 1.5%, goats by 4.3% (2.8 million), pigs by 18%, birds by 0.3% as of December 1, 2012 compared to the same date in 2011.
Meanwhile, the number of horses has increased by 5.2% and camels by 1.5%.
