India has called on Ukraine to consider investing in the development of Indian infrastructure and the modernization of the industry.

This is stipulated in a joint statement on the establishment of comprehensive partnership relations between Ukraine and India.

"Recognizing the high level of technological and engineering capabilities of Ukraine and noting the liberal policies of India regarding the attraction of foreign investment, the Indian side called on the Ukrainian side will consider the possibility of investing in the development of India's infrastructure and the modernization of its industry, especially metallurgical and energy industries," reads the document.

The sides stressed the need to introduce regular dialogue at the national and business levels in order to apply significant bilateral potential for investment and transfer of technology.
