Ukraine unveiled on Tuesday an amended 2013 budget draft, setting its deficit at 3.2 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) rather than 1.65 percent initially estimated.

"The projected budget deficit has been changed due to reduced revenues," acting First Deputy Finance Minister Anatoly Myarkovskiy told journalists in Kiev.

The draft, which needs to be ratified by the parliament, had put projected revenues at some 45.1 billion U.S. dollars down from previously estimated 49.4 billion dollars and expenditure at 51.33 billion against 54.4 billion estimated in September, Myarkovskiy said.

According to the revised prediction, the GDP is expected to grow at 3.4 percent for the coming year rather than 4.5 percent estimated earlier.

Ukraine's inflation is projected to stand at 4.8 percent in 2013, down from 5.9 percent initially anticipated.
