Ukraine requests increase of import tariffs from WTO

According to the official information released after WTO meeting on November 29th, 2012 Ukraine is requesting an option of monitoring import tariff duties on its own, as well as increasing them for 371 tariff position. 23 committee members of WTO requested Ukrainian government to review the request or even withdraw it completely. Ukrainian government gave an official reply on December 4, 2012 stating that the request will not be withdrawn and government position remains.
