IDC preparing to become one of Ukraine’s major land owners

Agro holding Industrial Dairy Company (IDC) is planning to shortly increase its land bank by 48% to 123 Th ha, according to the holding’s financial report. Investments in this project will total roughly USD 200 Ml. Reportedly, the land lease deal will be financed from the proceeds of a bond overing. “Owing to the final results of our harvest campaign and the land bank size, we’ll be capable of becoming one of Ukraine’s major agro holdings by the year’s end,” the report quotes IDC general director Yevgeniy Osipov as saying. Moreover, the company’s representatives said that the IDC is planning to invest USD 72 Ml in its development in 2012.
