Ukraine is interested in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in the agricultural sector, especially given the global food crisis, President Viktor Yanukovych said at the Ukrainian-UAE Business Forum in Abu Dhabi on Monday, the president's press office reports.

"We see the United Arab Emirates one of the leading partners in the region, which not only needs a lot of food, but also exports its products in the region," said Yanukovych.

According to him, Ukraine is interested in establishing joint ventures for growing and processing agricultural products. "Mutually beneficial could also be your initiatives in relation to exports to the UAE of grain crops, milk, beef, poultry, seeds and other agricultural products," added the head of state.
