The tax burden of Kazakhstan is the lowest in Central Asia. This was stated in the report of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is called "The risks for the public finances of the CIS in the light of the current global instability".
The tax burden in Kyrgyzstan is 19% of GDP, the same position is noted in Armenia. Tajikistan has the tax burden at the level of 18% from GDP.
Kazakhstan's rate is 14% and Azerbaijan's is 13%.
Moldova has the highest rate of 31%.
