Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan receive direct foreign investments least of all among CIS countries in 2011

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan received direct foreign investments least of all CIS countries in 2011, according to the Eurasian Development Bank's Report on Monitoring of Reciprocal Investments.

The volume of imported direct foreign investments to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.274 billion, to Tajikistan - $993 mln. Moldova received $3.163 bln.

Russia takes a lead among the CIS countries with $475.474 billion received in direct foreign investments. It is followed by Kazakhstan with $93.624 billion and then Ukraine with $65.192 billion.

The gross exported direct investments of Kyrgyzstan by late 2011 amounted to $2 million, which remained unchanged since 2010.

The figures of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are zero.
