Kazakhstan receives most Russian direct investments for CIS, Georgia among Central Asian countries

Kyrgyzstan receives 1.3% of Russian direct investments for the CIS countries and Georgia, according to the Eurasian Development Bank's report on Monitoring of Reciprocal Investments.
Ukraine receives the most investments – 38%. It is followed by Kazakhstan with 25.3%. Then Belarus comes with 15.6%.
Moldova and Georgia receive the Russian direct investments least of all – 1.1% each, where as Turkmenistan did not receive Russian investments at all in 2011.
As for direct investments made in Russia, Kazakhstan is the biggest country-investor in late 2011 - $2.84 billion or 66% of all investments. Then Ukraine comes with $0.92 billion (21.4%) and Georgia with $0.33 billion (7.7%).
