Thai Q3 GDP up 1.2%

Thailand's gross domestic product expanded 1.2 percent quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter on a seasonally adjusted basis, data released by the office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) showed Monday.
Year-on-year, GDP rose 3 percent in the third quarter, in line with expectations. Thai economy in 2013 is forecast to grow 4.5 - 5.5 percent after an estimated 5.5 percent growth this year.
