Ukraine, Vietnam intensifying talks on creation of free trade area

Ukraine and Vietnam have agreed to intensify negotiations on the creation of a free trade area and investment protection.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced this at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung.
"We agreed to intensify negotiations on the signing of an agreement on the introduction of a free trade area and investment protection," Azarov said.
He said that the Ukrainian side would ensure a constructive approach to the signing of these agreements.
The prime minister said that Ukraine and Vietnam have great potential for stepping up trade and economic cooperation. "Our countries have great potential for enhancing cooperation, and it should be used for the benefit of our countries," Azarov said.
