Economic development and trade ministry forecasts inflation at 8.9% in 2011

The Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine forecasts inflation at 8.9% in 2011, it is said in the explanatory note of the Ministry to main estimated figures for the current year.
Growth rates of industrial volumes by the Ministry forecasts will make about 6%.
Earlier, Director of the NBU Economic Analysis and Forecasting Oleksandr Petryk stated that inflation and GDP growth in 2011 will be at the level of 2010. Thus, inflation remains at the level of 11-11.5%, GDP growth - 4.1-4.5%.
Also, the analysts forecast that inflation in Ukraine will make up 10.5%.
