Turkmen commodity exchange registers transactions for over $197 mln

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 40 transactions worth over $197 million last week, reported Turkmenistan.ru.
Businessmen from the UK, Malaysia, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands bought jet fuel and KO-20 kerosene, diesel, liquefied gas, gasoline, base oil, cumulative and calcined petroleum coke from the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
Businessmen from Cyprus bought diesel fuel from the Seydi oil refinery.
Businessmen from Russia, China, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands also used foreign currency to buy bread grain, plain and jacquard terry towels of different sizes, sets of bed linen, cotton yarn and cotton fiber.
Businessmen from China, the UK, Turkey, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Slovakia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan concluded transactions in national currency worth over 10 million manat. They bought a wide range of textiles, terry and knitted fabrics, cotton yarn, textile waste.
Turkmen businessmen bought polypropylene worth over 32 thousand manat for domestic consumption.
