Ukraine harvested 43.4 M tons of grain from 95% of the planted area

According to the official information released by Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Ukraine 43.4 M tons of grain have been harvested from 14.1 M hectares, which comprises 95% of the planted areas. Average yield in Ukraine this year is measured at 30.9 hw per hectare, compared to 34.4 during the previous year. It has also been stated that 17.1 M tons of corn have been harvested with average yield of 45.4 hw per hectare compared to 60.6 during the previous year.
AgroInvest comment: Record levels of crop last year were not possible to repeat this year due to several reasons, major of which being unfavorable weather conditions.
