Uzbekistan attracts $2 bln foreign investments for 9 months of 2012

Foreign investments and loans attracted by Uzbekistan for 9 months of 2012 amounted to $2 billion, according to the report released by the State Statistical Committee on November 5.
Direct foreign investments totaled $1.3 billion.
Attracted foreign and domestic investments allowed completion of 106 investment projects.
155 new construction ventures were opened, 22 construction ventures were modernized during this period.
