British bank Barclays, which was rocked by a rate-rigging scandal earlier this year, said on Wednesday it fell into a net loss in the third quarter after making a large provision for insurance mis-selling.
Losses after taxation stood at 200 million pounds ($321 million, 248 million euros) in the three months to September, compared with 2.7 billion pounds in the same part of the previous financial year, Barclays said in a statement.
