Statistics office: Ukraine's GDP 1.3% down in Q3/2012

Ukraine's GDP in Q3/ 2012 fell down by 1.3% compared to the like period in 2011, the State Statistics Office said in a statement on Wednesday.
"GDP in Q3/2012 compared to the corresponding quarter in 2011 (in fixed prices of 2007) was 98.7%," reads the report.
The Cabinet of Ministers laid down in the state budget for the current year the forecast of growth of real GDP in Ukraine by 3.9%.
As UKRINFORM reported, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) downgraded its growth forecast of Ukraine's economy in 2012 from 2.5% to 1%. Ernst & Young lowered its forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth from 3.1% to 1.7%. Fitch Ratings expects that at end-2012 the Ukrainian economy will rise only by 0.5%.
