Ovostar Union will increase its elevator capacity

According to the official statement released by the company, Ovostar Union is planning to increased their elevator capacity by 58% which is by 10.5 thousand tons to the level of 28.5 thousand tons. Company also stated that the increase in capacity will require capital investment of USD 3 M. Funds required for such procedure will originate from investment program, which is currently active and will be implemented until 2014.
AgroInvest comment: infrastructure in Ukraine regarding elevator capacity requires improvement and modernization. We assume that current rumors regarding export ban for grain definitely affected the decision as company will hold on to the finished product until ban is lifted to take advantage of higher prices.
