Ukrainian banks go in the red

Ukrainian banks' profit for the first nine months of the year amounted to 2.775 billion UAH. In September, financial institutions sustained a loss of 118 million UAH (profit for the eight months was 2.893 billion UAH).
This is stated in the main indicators of the Ukrainian banks, published on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Banks' profits in January-September 2012 compared to the same period last year increased by 7.1% to 110.8 billion UAH, and expenditures decreased by 1% to 108 billion UAH.
