Ukraine, Russia willing to coordinate grain prices on global market

Ukraine and Russia have reached an early agreement on establishing an information and advisory body for the coordination of marketing policy on the world grain market.
Negotiations on this issue were held by the two countries' agriculture ministers, Mykola Prysiazhniuk and Nikolai Fedorov, during the 10th session of the sub-commission on agriculture of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported.
"A preliminary agreement was reached with our Ukrainian counterparts to create a new format of grain pool. Specifically, an interagency information and consultation structure could be set up to ensure joint coordination of marketing efforts in the global grain market," the statement says.
