Negotiations on Kazakhstan's accession to WTO are in final stage

The Minister's Secretariat for Economic Integration told that Kazakhstan completed bilateral negotiations on market access for goods and services with all the countries - members of the working group that were interested in access to the markets of Kazakhstan (the negotiations with the EU on the use of Kazakhstan export duties are close to completion), reports Bnews.kz.
Discussions are ongoing with members of the working group at the multilateral level in order to bring the legislation in accordance with the WTO rules.
As of today, the working group held 13 meetings, discussing the draft report of the working group - final document that summarizes progress of Kazakhstan's foreign trade regime and contains concrete conditions of Kazakhstan to WTO membership.
Multilateral negotiations, including on agriculture that is scheduled for completion in the near future, remain unfinished.
In general, the negotiations on Kazakhstan's accession to the WTO are in the final stage.
