Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan totaled about $90 billion in January-August of this year, which is 13.5% higher than in the same period of 2011, the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan reported.
According to the department, exports rate totaled more than $62 billion in over eight months, which is 9.3% more than the same period last year.
The Statistics Agency said that the import was formed at the level of $28 billion, which is 24.1% higher than in January-August 2011.
In addition, the agency noted that the financial performance of large and medium-sized enterprises was defined as a gain of $1 trillion 918.2 billion tenge in Kazakhstan for the second quarter of 2012, or 18.6% more than the same period of 2011.
The level of profitability of Kazakh enterprises reached 33.3%, the share of unprofitable enterprises, including total-reporting, amounted to 34.3%.
