KFC sees 10% sales growth

Fried chicken experts KFC Holdings Malaysia Bhd launched its new Double Down Burger early October and expect sales to lift 10% during its promotional period. General Manager of Marketing Kelvin Hong said the ‘bunless’ burger will be available at all its KFC restaurants in Malaysia until the end of November. “It is filling and has extra ingredients that provide nourishment,” Mr Hong said adding that its target group are male teenagers and young adults who lead active lifestyles. KFCH revealed it is spending over USD 654,000 on advertising and promotions for the spicier version of the burger.
