Serbian PM Ivica Dacic said in talks with a Romanian Parliament delegation in Belgrade that the traditionally friendly relations between Romania and Serbia ought to be accompanied by intensive economic cooperation, Romania being the fifth top foreign trade partner of Serbia.
It was agreed that economic development should be used to resolve the life issues of Romanian national minority members in Serbian regions such as Vojvodina and the Timok krajina region. The Romanian delegation, with Dan Radu Zatreanu at the helm, also met with members of the Serbian Parliament’s Committee for the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and the Committee for Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality.
