Mriya increased net profit by 7.8% during the 1H 2012

According to the financial report released by the company, agro holding Mriya increased net profit by 7.8% to USD 132.33 M in the 1H 2012 compared to the same period in 2011. Company’s management attributed growth to favorable prices for agricultural products during the period as well as modernization and growth strategy pursued by the company. Company’s revenues from operations increased to USD 54.5 M against USD 45.3 M during the same period during 2011. Other revenues originated from reevaluation of biological assets bringing net revenues to USD 209.2 M compared to USD 176.9 M compared to the same period during 2011.
AgroInvest comment: company’s financial results have shown improvement as the result of successful management as well as favorable climate for agricultural producers in Ukraine as well as on the global scale.
