Agriculture ministry sets sizes of budget loans secured with grain in 2012/2013 MY

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has set the size of budget loans on collateral of grain in 2012/2013 marketing year (July 2012 - June 2013), which the Agrarian Fund will provide to farmers.
The relevant decree of 22 August this year was published on the parliamentary website, according to UKRINFORM.
According to the decree, the size of a budget loan on the security of 1st grade soft wheat is 1,676.8 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 1,527.2 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 1,440 UAH/ton, 4th grade 1,383.2 UAH/ton, 5th grade 1,228 UAH/ton, 6th grade 1,192 UAH/ton.
The size of a budget loan on the security of 1st grade hard wheat is 1,744.8 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 1,540 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 1,450.4 UAH/ton, 4th grade 1,428.8 UAH/ton, 5th grade 1,223.2 UAH/ton.
Budget loans secured with 1st grade rye make 1,380 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 1,314.4 UAH/ton and 3rd grade 1,252 UAH/ton. Budget loans secured with barley were set for the 1st grade at 1,380 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 1,280 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 1,253.6 UAH/ton.
Budget loan on corn for infant food was set at 1,367.2 UAH/ton; for the production of food concentrates and other foods 1,288.8 UAH/ton; for the production of cereals, flour, starch and molasses 1,244.8 UAH/ton; for feed purposes 1,200 UAH/ton.
Budget loans secured with buckwheat make 5,400 UAH/ton; peas 1st grade 2,524.8 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 2,310.4 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 2,096 UAH/ton; oats 1st grade 2,112 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 1,936 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 1,760 UAH/ton; millet 1st grade 2,200 UAH/ton, 2nd grade 2,000 UAH/ton, 3rd grade 1,800 UAH/ton.
It is noted that the document comes into force on the date of its official publication.
The Cabinet, by its Decree 859 of September 17, established the rate of the loans provided by the Agrarian Fund on the security of grains at 6.8% per annum for 2012/2013 MY.
