2012-09-20 16:32:37
The agreement was signed in St. Petersburg by Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The agreement is based on WTO norms and rules. The new document recorded all existing exemptions from the free trade agreement and secured non-expansion of the list and non-increase rates of duty, in addition, fixed the date of cancellation of the currently existing exemptions from the free trade regime for imports.
AgroInvest comment: the agreement opens new export markets for Ukraine, however complicates relations with its major trading partner: EU.
