Internal market development will promote economic stability - President

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych noted the importance of state activities aimed at the development of the domestic market.
He said this on Tuesday, during a meeting with the administration of Odesa region, the press service of the head of state reported.
"We must be willing to develop the internal market. We see that the economic crisis is deepening, the world economy is growing less and less, the consumption of goods is falling," Viktor Yanukovych said.
He stressed that the development of the internal market is a very urgent task, given the difficult global conditions, reducing scale of international trade, etc. The President called the development of the internal market an important component of support for economic stability, minimization of financial losses and maintenance of decent social standards of living.
According to the President, Ukraine has already started work on the development of programs to promote revitalization of the domestic market. "To be able to involve our steel giants, to give them markets," Yanukovych added, paying special attention to the importance of drawing additional investment in the domestic market.
