Exports of Kazakhstan increase by 10%

For the first half of this year, exports of Kazakhstan increased by 10% if compared to the same period of last year, the press service of Kaznex Invest reported.
"In Kazakhstan, exports in the first half of this year amounted to $46.8 billion, this is 10% more over the same period of 2011," said the press service.
It is noted that the export of processed products increased by 22% or to $11.7 billion, while the share of non-oil exports amounted to 25.05%.
In terms of regions the share of processed exports to the EU amounted to $2.6 billion, to China - 2.1 billion dollars, to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus - $1.8 billion. These are products such as: ferroalloys products, petroleum, petroleum gas, refined copper, uranium and zinc.
As noted, the flour exports increased by 74% or to $317 million. Growth was observed in the traditional markets: Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan.
In turn, a 4% increase in the volume of export of yellow phosphorus was revealed. The volume of exports of this product for the first six months of this year reached $84.5 million.
In 2011, Kazakhstan ranked exports of yellow phosphorus as top product.
