Ukraine. Retail trade turnover 16% up - State Statistics Service

Retail trade turnover in January-August 2012 was UAH 504.8 billion, which in comparative prices is 16% up against January-August 2011.
Those data were published by the State Statistics Service.
According to the State Statistics Service, Kyiv and Donetsk region are leading by retail trade volumes (UAH 64.4 billion and UAH 49.4 billion respectively). The smallest volume of retail trade was observed in Sevastopol (UAH 6.3 billion) and Chernivtsi region (UAH 6.9 billion).
The largest growth in the retail trade turnover was fixed in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (+19.5%), the least is in Cherkasy (+11.6%), Lviv (+12.2%) and Kyiv regions (+12.6%).
As reported by UKRINFORM, retail trade turnover was UAH 429.1 billion, which in comparative prices is 17.4% up against January-July 2011.
