Agricultural production in the Black Sea region is associated with many risks (floods, drought, winterkill), which can lead to large losses for producers.

Risk management system, the foundation of which is insurance, is an integral part of agricultural production.

Due to the urgency of the matter, the participants of the 5th International Conference "Agricultural investment - 2012" will discuss the topic of insurance practices in the inputs market. The Conference which will be held on November 8 in "President-Hotel", Kiev.

In particular, during the second session of the Conference the chairman of the PZU Ukraine Insurance Company Maciej Szyszko will give a report on "Challenges of insurance. How to build an understanding with farmers and insurers?".
