Turkey Q2 GDP Growth Slows

Turkey's economy expanded at a slower pace in the second quarter, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported Monday.
Gross domestic product grew 2.9 percent year-on-year, down from 3.3 percent expansion in the first quarter. On the other hand, calendar adjusted GDP growth accelerated to 3.2 percent from 2.5 percent.
On a sequential basis, the economy expanded 1.8 percent after shrinking 0.1 percent in the first quarter.
