Yuzhny port ups cargo turnover by 29% in January 2011

Yuzhny Sea Commercial Port (Odesa region, southern Ukraine) increased cargo turnover by 29% in January 2011 compared to January 2010, to over 2 million tons, the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry has said in a statement.
According to the statement, the actual figure for cargo handling in January 2011 exceeded by 16.8% the figure for January 2010 and amounted to 1.369 million tons.
In January 2011, the port handled 67 ships and 14,878 units of rolling stock.
