KazAgro spent over 106 billion tenge to develop and support agriculture in 1H 2012

In the first half of 2012, the total amount of investment in the development and support of the country’s agricultural sector reached 106.5 billion tenge.
The KazAgro holding company channeled 106.5 billion tenge towards the development and support of Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector in the first half of 2012, Interfax reported.
More than 25% of these or 28 billion tenge was spent on purchasing agricultural products and the remaining funds amounting to 78 billion tenge on lending for agro-industrial complex entities and the population. Apart from that, the company’s funding for spring sowing and harvesting from all the sources will make up 95.85 billion tenge this year. The KazAgro National Holding was founded in 2006.
