China is rated 6th in direct outbound investment

Xinhua agency has cited the Ministry of Commerce and said that in 2011 China’s direct outbound investment amounted to 74.65 billion US dollars, which is 8.5% more than in 2010.
According to the report, last year Chinese investments in non-financial sectors of foreign economies exceeded 68.5 billion US dollars. In general, China created about 18 thousand enterprises in 177 countries. Investments of China in Europe totaled 8.25 billion US dollars and in North America, 2.48 billion US dollars.
