Black Rock bets on agriculture

Laurence "Larry" Fink, chairman and chief executive officer of BlackRock said that agriculture and water investments will be the best performers over the next 10 years. "Go long agriculture and water and go to the beach," said Mr Fink. Mr. Fink’s investment vehicle, Black Rock controls $3.5 trillion, more than the GDP of Germany. He also believes that over ten years agriculture and water investments will beat energy.
