Greek "breather" would cost €20 billion more --IMF

The “ breather” of a two-year extension to Greece’s fiscal adjustment program, to 2016, would cost additional bailout funding of €20 billion, according to the IMF, the newspaper Ta Nea reported on Saturday.
The government is also said to see a hole of €2 billion in the funding that will be required over 2013 and 2014, due to the deeper recession.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras reiterated his government’s resolve to do whatever it takes to keep the country in the eurozone.
“I wish to reassure that Greece will to whatever it takes to stay in the euro and play the role that becomes her in European integration,” he said after meeting French President Francois Hollande in Paris.
