Industrial Milk Company is forecasting potato harvest increase by 11%

According to the official information released by the company, IMC is forecasting potato harvest increase of 11% in 2012, measured at 17.1 thousand tons of potatoes in bunker weight, compared to 15.4 thousand tons in 2011. Forecasts are seen as conservative ones by the company since there is a possibility of an increase. Company also increased potato planting area by 6% to 0.68 thousand hectares.
AgroInvest comment: this year will be positive for potato producers due to relatively favorable weather conditions.
