Poland's core inflation remains stable

Poland's core inflation remained unchanged for the second consecutive month in July, data released by the National Bank of Poland showed Tuesday.
Core consumer prices, excluding food and energy, increased 2.3 percent annually in July, unchanged from the growth seen in June and May. The figure also matched economists' forecast.
Month-on-month, core consumer prices were higher by 0.1 percent in July, in line with economists' expectations. The rate of growth was unchanged from the previous month.
Poland's consumer price inflation slowed to 4 percent in July from 4.3 percent in June. On a monthly basis, prices decreased 0.5 percent during the month, reversing the previous month's 0.2 percent rise.
