USDA downgrades crops yield outlook for Ukraine

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) downgraded its outlook for grain crops yield in Ukraine by 0.45% or by 0.2 million tons to 44. 1million tons in 2012, the USDA's August report reads.
 
In particular, the wheat forecast rose by 15.4% or by 2 million tons to 15 million tons, and fodder grain outlook fell by 7% or by 0.2 million tons to 29.1 million tons against the outlook in July.
 
As reported, in July, the USDA downgraded grain culture yield outlook for Ukraine by 3.3% or by 1.5 million tons to 44.3 million tons in 2012.
 
As reported by UKRINFORM, harvesting of early grain crops is in the process of completion in Ukraine. 25.4 million tons of grain is gathered. At the same time, milling wheat makes up 85%.
 
In 2012, 5.24 million tons of bread grain may be spent for food.
