Ukrainian government allies criticize agricultural policy

Anatoli Kinakh, one of Ukraine’s weathervane politicians, who always throws his support behind the party power, has come out with open criticism of the Ukrainian government’s agricultural policy. Mr. Kinakh on Saturday openly criticized the government for lack of transparency in government support programs and manipulation of export quotas. He said this will lead to a halt in investments that Ukraine needs. As we mentioned on Friday, Nibulon, the private Ukrainian grain trading company has already announced it has halted its grain handling and storage investment program. When open dissent appears in ruling party ranks we believe either change will come or party members will be punished for cricizing the government.
