Farmers today have threshed 22.7 million tons of grain. This was said at the roundtable Director of the Department of Economic Development and Agricultural Market of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food Sergey Kvasha, reports UNN.

"At the end of July - early August, we collected about 94% yield. That means that 22.7 million tons, these expectations may be high because we come to harvest crops in the steppe and in the Polesie area, where the yield on the actual evaluation of the above in some areas than it was last year "- said S.Kvasha.

In particular, wheat, according to him, collected 14.6 million tons, down from 5.4 million tons, than in the past. The average grain yield is 24.7 t / ha last year, it amounted to 29.7 t / ha.

S.Kvasha added that as of July 30 at certified warehouses stored 3.8 million tons of grain, including wheat, 2.7 million tons.

We remind the Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk assured that to date there are no preconditions to restrict the export of grain abroad.
