Retail trade turnover in Latvia increased by 8.4% in June y-o-y

Retail trade in food has increased by 1.6%, whereas non-food product retail trade has risen by 2.3%.
In comparison with the month before, total retail trade turnover at current prices, not considering the seasonality, in June of this year has grown by 3.1%.

Compared to June 2011, total retail trade turnover in June 2012 has risen by 8.4%, according to calendar adjusted data at constant prices.Rise in food commodity group comprises 5.9%,while retail trade in non-food products has increased by 9.7%, of which retail sale of automotive fuel - by 5.6%.
In comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year, total retail trade turnover at current prices, has risen by 8.9% (not taking into account the calendar influence).
