Grain prices rising

Grain prices are tipped to jump $3 to $5 a tonne today after huge increases on the international markets.
Last night, the price of wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade hit 900 cents a bushel.
This has pushed wheat values well past $300 a tonne for some grain producing regions on the east coast.
Graham Allen, a broker in southern NSW, says with prices this good, farmers should be thinking about marketing some of their grain.
"It's probably worth noting that these values are getting historically high," he said.
"You know, there are no guarantees that our values will remain at these levels right through until harvest."
