MHP’s chicken sales remained at the level of Q1 2011 during Q1 2012

Agro holding Myronivskiy Khliboproduct reported chicken sales at the same level as during Q1 2011, at 181.6 thousand tons. At the same time average selling price during January-June increased by 28% to 17.14 UAH per kilogram. The second quarter figure of 2012 has indicated decline of 1% to 96.56 thousand tons. At the same time price continued to grow as it gained 25% to 17.48 UAH per kilogram.
AgroInvest comment: Growing food stuff prices contribute to higher sales figures for the companies. Due to the fact that prices are expected to grow this year, sales revenues will continue to grow.
