Ukraine. Statistics: Retail trade grows by 16% in H1, 2012, to UAH 355.6 b

Retail trade in Ukraine amounted to UAH 355.6 billion in January-June 2012, which, in comparable prices, was 16% more than in January-June 2011, the State Statistics Service has reported.
The largest retail turnover was observed in the city of Kyiv (UAH 46.927 billion) and Donetsk region (UAH 35.266 billion), and the smallest in the city of Sevastopol (UAH 3.959 billion) and Chernivtsi region (UAH 5.005 billion).
As reported, in 2011, enterprises in Ukraine increased retail trade by 13.7%, to UAH 346.5 billion.
